I have considered buying this house myself, if it does not attract the attention it deserves then I would buy and below are the renovations I would make.
This house has the potential to be a great holiday home for a small family or indeed just two people.
High on a hill overlooking a part of the village it offers seclusion and privacy without being far away from all the services you would need.
There is the potential for 2 bedrooms, a small wet-room, kitchen and lounge.
The small building you can see would make a great place to sit in the long hot summers.
Its basically a 2 up 2 down, identical in size on both floors.
My plans are as follow;
there will be a wet-room downstairs (as I intend to put the lounge upstairs, and a master bedroom with ensuite.
From the lounge there will be a large balcony accessed through french doors, and a smaller balcony at the front.
More windows will be added, as the spectacular views are at the back.
Sometimes the layout of a Bulgarian house is not in keeping with what we are used too, but I don`t see that as a problem, in fact for me its adds more to the adventure of renovation.
So?, as you come through the front door, you will have the kitchen to the left, one bedroom to the right, and wet-room ahead, as well as stairs leading up directly into the lounge.
The lounge will be L-shaped, and will have a door to the left leading into the master bedroom with ensuite, this works well as the upstairs wet-room is directly above the downstairs wet-room.
If we don`t renovate too much the house will be for sale, but price will increase with the more work we do, but if we complete, as you can imagine, the price will be greatly increased, and we may decide to keep.
